Brow Tattoo Care
PRE CARE
It’s important to prepare your skin properly before your tattoo appointment.
• Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications (like aspirin) 24 hours before your treatment.
• Stay hydrated and keep your skin moisturised in the days leading up to your appointment.
• Do not exfoliate or wax the area for at least 3 days prior.
• Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 1 week before.
• If you’re feeling unwell or have any active skin conditions in the area, please contact us to reschedule.
Proper preparation helps your skin heal faster and absorb pigment more evenly.
AFTER CARE
Proper Aftercare is essential to ensure the best healing and long-lasting results. Please follow these guidelines closely.
​✅ First 24–48 Hours

Blot gently tattoo area with a clean tissue if there is any lymph fluid.
-
Keep brows clean - Avoid getting them wet (no direct water, or sweat).
-
Avoid touching brows unnecessarily.

✅ Day 3–10: Peeling Phase
-
Sleep on your back
-
Apply healing balm (as provided or recommendation)
-
- should be no bigger than a grain of rice each brows / a thin layer with a cotton swab morining & night
-
Gently wash the tattooed area with clean fingertips using mild soap & water.
-
- Recommendation face wash brand: Ceraphil mild soap, Cerave hydrating cleanser)
-
After wash your face pat to dry tattoo area with a clean tissue
-
Brows may flake or scab lightly — do not pick the scabbing!!
-
Healed may appear uneven, faded, a lot, patchy - It's normal and part of the healing process.​
​
🚫 Avoid the Following 1 - 4 Weeks​
-
No alcohol for 1 week
-
No heavy exercise or sweating for 3 weeks; Salt in sweat fades pigment, skin irritation
-
No spicy, salty, or acidic foods / curry, red wine for 3 weeks; colour food to stain on your lips, may irritate skin
-
No Botox / filler around tattoo area for 3 weeks
-
No makeup or other skincare products around tattoo area; ex, Retinal product, Vitamin C, AHA/BHA, cleansing oil until fully healed
-
No Chemical peel, laser treatment, micro needling until fully healed
-
No smoking until fully healed
-
No saunas, swimming or sun exposure untill fully healed

Avoid using exfoliating products (AHAs, Retinol, etc.) near lips during the healing period.

Always use SPF on your lips after tattoo to protect color.
​✅ First 24–48 Hours

Blot gently with a clean tissue if there is any lymph fluid.

Put on ice pack on lips if you feel swellening. (Chewing gums helps swelling goes down!)
-
Keep lips clean - Avoid getting them wet (no direct water, saliva, or sweat).
-
Apply healing balm (as provided or recommended) sparingly and only with clean hands or cotton tip.
-
Avoid touching your lips unnecessarily.

✅ Day 3–10: Peeling Phase

Continue applying the lip balm 3–5 times a day or as needed to keep lips hydrated.
